Josh Zander is a Class A PGA Teaching Professional. He played for the Stanford Golf Team and graduated as an Academic All American in 1990.
Josh is a member of the Golf Digest Pro Panel and is also a contributing editor for Junior Golf Magazine. Before turning his attention to teaching in 1994, Josh was a touring professional on the Asian, South American, and Golden State tours. During his playing career, he qualified and played in the 1992 U.S. Open at Pebble Beach. Most recently, he was named one of California's Top 50 Instructors by Golf Digest. Visit ZanderGolf.com.
Russ Vander Sluis, Golf Professional, served as an Assistant Golf Professional at Stanford Golf Course from 1991 to 1994 before traveling to Tokyo, Japan to compete in several pro tournaments.
There he founded the Vander Sluis Golf Academy, where he taught for six years, held golf clinics throughout Japan, and learned to teach golf in Japanese. He re-joined the Stanford teaching staff in the Spring of 2001.

Bammer Flippo, PGA Apprentice, is the Associate General Manager at Stanford Golf Course. He has been a member of the Stanford staff since 1997. Prior to Stanford he was a golf professional in Texas and New Jersey. Bammer also helps operate the Stanford Junior Golf Academy each summer.
Phil Marrone, PGA Class A Professional, has served on the staff at Stanford Golf Course since 1984. Phil has also worked at Hillcrest Country Club and Crane Creek Country Club, both of Boise, Idaho. In addition, he has held the head coaching position at Menlo College for seven years. A veteran of over 10,000 lessons, Phil's speciality is short game instruction. Visit PhilMarroneGolf.com.
Herman McKee, Golf Professional, is an Assistant Golf Professional at Stanford Golf Course. His tenure with the Course is the longest of any member on the teaching staff, having come to Stanford in 1983. In addition to his duties at the Course, Herman also helps manage and serves as an instructor at the Stanford Junior Golf Academy.
